The very beautiful and talented Cheryl Ladd, one of the original "Charlie's Angel" stars, was born on July 12, 1951 in Huron, South Dakota. Her real name is Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor, born to parents Marion Wayne Stoppelmoor and Delores Katz. Cheryl had always dreamed to become an actress when she was young. She began acting at the age of five, learning how to tap-dance together with her father. She had a Jazz band in High School called "Music Shop Band" that traveled from Midwest to California.

Although Cheryl Ladd expressed great interest and love for music, she saw that music is too uncertain as an industry and from this thought, she came up with a decision to pursue an acting career instead. She became so excited as fate is too good for her that her first job was singing and acting in one. Cheryl Ladd, then Cherie Moor, landed a part in the CBS series Josie and the Pussycats which run from 1970 to 1972. Few years later, in the year 1976, Cheryl landed her first feature role in a thrift film called Jamaica Reef. But this movie did not do much to her acting carrier, except introduce her to her first husband David Ladd, son of the famed movie cowboy Alan Ladd. She kept her name, Ladd, even after her divorce in 1979.

In the year 1997, Cheryl Ladd replaced Farrah Fawcett in the second season of Charlie's Angels. This has been her greatest role so far. She also released her self-titled album in 1978, which was followed by Dance Forever in 1979. One track from the album entitled Think it Over made it in Billboards Top 40 charts.
